The Cantina Dorigati in Mezzocorona has been producing Teroldego Rotaliano wine for 163 years – it now presents its family history in an evening of historical and artistic exploration. The focus of the experience is the art of wine making and the art of music.
Listen to stories and anecdotes about the family and tour the estate's historic buildings and vineyards. Along the way you’ll see the parts of the ancient cellars where the wine is produced and aged the “boidor” where alcoholic fermentation takes place, the wood ageing area built into the old concrete vats located up to 10 metres below ground.
This tour of the buildings finishes with a tasting of 4 glasses of wine complemented with local cured meats and cheeses and accompanied by pieces of classical music improvised by a violin-guitar duo. All you need to learn to love and enjoy wine, the art of the earth.
