Roveré della Luna Aichholz
Wine has always been known in this area, and we find it documented for the first time in the XVI century.
The Cantina Roveré della Luna - Kellerei Aicholz, founded by forward-thinking winemakers in 1919, produces wine from grapes grown in this area, which boasts a long winemaking tradition. Now located on the border between the provinces of Trento and Bolzano, its headquarters were originally in the neighbouring district of Salurn in South Tyrol, next to the railway station; since 1953 it has been in Roveré della Luna, close to those Associates whose sacrifice kept it going in those difficult times. Today, its almost 300 Associates produce more than 65,000 tons of high-quality grapes for the winery.
White and red wine production techniques are the outcome of over 90 years research and development focussed on quality and the particular characteristics of the land. The grapes are processed in a modern, rational, dynamic winery, according to an approach steeped in tradition and thorough knowledge of the art.
Regard for the people and the land, a passion for the work and attention to the product, research into quality and innovation, these are some of the principles that guide our daily work alongside our Associates to bring pleasure to our customers.
